Amy Cannizzo-Brennan, MSN, RN, became vice president of clinical services for Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter in October 2005, after serving as senior clinical director since 2003.
In her role, Ms. Cannizzo-Brennan oversees all hospice-related clinical operations. This includes inpatient and home-based hospice care, bereavement services (adults and youth) and the volunteer program.
With an MSN in nursing administration from State University of New York Utica/Rome, Ms. Cannizzo-Brennan brings more than 17 years of healthcare management experience to her position. Most recently, she served as senior clinical director at Highland Park Hospital of NorthShore University HealthSystem (formerly Evanston Northwestern Healthcare), where she coordinated operational responsibilities for three inpatient, six outpatient and ten support departments.
