Vice President of Business Development
Heidi Schelling oversees the Business Development and Communications/PR departments of Midwest CareCenter. She also is the lead on the development and construction of the organization's hospice inpatient pavilion (construction to begin March 2011).
Ms. Schelling’s more than 20 years of experience in healthcare and business development include positions in the pharmaceutical, provider, managed care/insurance and consulting sectors. Most recently, she served as managed care organization team leader for Searle Pharmaceutical/ Pharmacia and senior vice president for Northwestern Healthcare Network. Her desire to return to work in the nonprofit human services field brought her to Midwest CareCenter in January 2003.
Ms. Schelling earned a master’s degree in health administration and planning from Washington University in St. Louis and her bachelor’s degree is from the University of Rochester.
