Planned Giving: Care Inspires Bequest

Sara Brown's friend was a Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter patient in the mid-1990s. After his death in 1995, several memorial gifts were received in his honor, including one from Sara, who was grateful for the care her friend received.

Recollections of the compassionate care provided to her dear friend remained fresh in Sara's mind for many years. So she decided to name Midwest CareCenter the beneficiary of an unrestricted bequest of $50,000 in her will. In September 2006, eleven years after her friend's death, the organization was notified of Sara's generous gift. Many patients now will benefit from this expression of her gratitude for his care.

You may have made a donation in memory of someone who received hospice care, as Sara did. Or you may be giving donations to Midwest CareCenter regularly.

Did you know that you also can leave a legacy to Midwest CareCenter? … that you can ensure that your interests and what you value is supported beyond your lifetime? Please consider naming Midwest Palliative & Hospice CareCenter in your will. Contact Anne Rossiter for further information—(847) 556-1605.
