On Monday, July 19, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., Dr. Martha Twaddle will present “Improving Your Quality of Life through Palliative Care: A Philosophy of Care.”
This presentation is an overview of palliative care and its focus on relieving suffering as well as improving quality of life. Dr. Twaddle, who is chief medical officer with Midwest CareCenter, also will clarify how hospice care fits into the spectrum of palliative care and will define the goal of the care team—meeting healthcare needs.
