The needs and reactions of young people often
differ from adults when they face the
challenges of a life-threatening illness or
the death of a family member.
Adult family members or caregivers may feel
overwhelmed or uncertain about the needs of
their child or teen during this time.
Families with Children
Offers support groups for children and teens who are:
- Living with someone who has a terminal illness.
- Grieving the loss of a close family member or friend.
Provides individual and family counseling also.
